WE WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON THIS UNIT IF THE SEALED BAG IS OPENED

Installation Instruction

  1. Remove rubber plugs covering the screws
(keep note of each plug location as the plug sizes are different between some holes)

  1. Using a Philips #2 screwdriver, remove the battery cover screws.

  1. Locate the loose white 4-wire connector with orange, black, grey, and brown wire colors coming from the controller. It should not be connected to anything

  1. Plug the Flasher Unit into the connector and power on the JBP (Jetson Bolt Pro), Pay attention to the LED headlight, which should blink twice.
(If the headlight does not blink twice, you will need to locate the Red reset button through the hole on the top cover and press it once while the unit is plugged in and powered on.)

  1. Power Off JBP and unplug Flasher. Please ensure that you pull from the white plastic connector and not the actual wires.

  1. Your JBP Stock Controller has now been hacked! Reinstall the battery cover and enjoy.

 Disclaimer:
-Please note that this hack will void your JBP warranty and is intended for off-road use only. We do not take any responsibility for any damages or bodily injury that may occur before or after you do this modification to your JBP.
-Please also note that this flash may not work on all Jetson Controllers. We, as the JBP Community, are working on determining exactly which model Controller the flasher may not work on. For updates, please check with the JBP Facebook community.

Note:
-Your new top speed will vary based on multiple conditions, such as battery voltage, rider weight, road conditions, etc. Adult riders have reported typically 1-3 mph with the speed limiter hack with stock 36v battery, and gains of up to 23mph when paired with the 48v battery upgrade. You will notice that the motor will continue to assist while pedaling at higher speeds.
