Install Tips

Installing our handlebar grips is a breeze, and you have several options to choose from:

  1. Dry Installation: This method involves simply sliding the grips onto the handlebars without any additional substances. Make sure your handlebars are clean and free from debris before sliding the grips on. This method allows for easy removal and adjustment if needed.
  2. Hairspray: Applying a small amount of hairspray on the inside of the grips and the handlebars can create a temporary adhesive effect. It helps the grips stay in place while still allowing for easy removal when desired. Once the hairspray dries, the grips will be securely attached.
  3. Grip Glue: Using grip glue provides a more permanent installation. Apply a small amount of grip glue on the inside of the grips and the handlebars. Quickly slide the grips onto the handlebars, aligning them properly. Once the glue cures as per the manufacturer's instructions, the grips will be firmly secured in place.
  4. Safety Wire: For added security, you can use safety wire to further anchor the grips. After installing the grips with one of the above methods, wrap safety wire around the grips and handlebars, tightening it securely. This method is commonly used in racing and off-road applications.
